Dr. Matt Huneycutt is a native Arkansan who attended Jessieville High School just outside Hot Springs Village, AR, Arkansas State University, and Texas Chiropractic College in Houston, TX. In addition to his Doctorate of Chiropractic, Dr. Huneycutt also has a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. He continues post-graduate studies in biomechanics, pediatrics, and nutrition, while traveling the country attending workshops and seminars that keep him on the cutting edge of natural health research. He is currently practicing in Little Rock, where he lectures locally on the health effects of posture, backpack safety for children, and reaching 100% optimal health.
Dr. Huneycutt achieves success with his patients, who have often exhausted traditional allopathic medical forms of treatment, by focusing on the removal of endangering tension and pressure that may be present within the central nervous system. The nervous system is the main control system for the entire body, and improper posture and alignment of the spinal column can put tension on the spinal cord itself. This nerve interference, called a subluxation, can interrupt the body's innate cellular ability to function properly. If the brain cannot properly communicate and send instructions to a part of the body, then the body cannot possibly work at 100%. Dr. Huneycutt specializes in a form of corrective care very different from “pain relief” or “patch-up care,” called Chiropractic Bio Physics. This care often restores posture quickly, effectively, efficiently, and gently.
